Eyong Ebai leads Terumo BCT’s Africa Cluster from Nairobi, overseeing customer-facing functions and partnerships to strengthen sustainable healthcare systems across the continent. With over 20 years in healthcare leadership, he previously headed GE Healthcare’s Sub-Saharan Africa operations and held senior roles at Johnson & Johnson, Smith & Nephew, and Janssen-Cilag. He is recognized as one of the “100 most influential people of African descent in healthcare,” honored at the United Nations General Assembly in 2023. Eyong now drives Terumo BCT’s collaborations with governments to advance national frameworks for sickle cell disease care and broader health system resilience.
